Born in Akron, Ohio and raised in Southeast Michigan, both the fine and industrial arts have always been around me .

As a graduate from the College for Creative Studies in Industrial / Product Design, my focus is on designing things and telling stories that break the conventions of what we are accustomed to.

I have experienced much that has contributed to my skills as a designer and individual, including:

• 5-month study abroad in Graz, Austria where I worked with German tool company Festool to innovate their cordless line of power tools

• Internship with Hasbro within their NERF design team working within all areas of product development. During this time I successfully brought a design from initial concept to manufacture, working with other designers on the team as well as engineers for production

• Internship with PCS Company engineering plastic-injection moldbases

• Freelance work with Prop Art Studio Detroit where I provided sculptural and finishing work on large-scale art installations and statues
